SpaceX did it! 5th (orbital-ish) test flight of Starship was nearly perfect. Its certain at this point that we will not only see Humans step foot on Mars but actually start Colonizing it!
I estimate in less than 5 years Starship will be fully operational and start regular space flights at least to Earth orbit in a Production Environment. Its hard to estimate Mars Colonization timeline however I believe 20 years or so should be plenty to at least have first manned mission to Mars.

Video Recommends: Jonathan Blow: Video Games and the Human Condition

Games designed to manipulate your behaviour and make gameplay addictive, compulsive through various specific psychological techniques are Parasitic.

"Many of today's console games exert a time crush. They demand tens or even thousands of hours of attention to complete, some or most of which often feels empty. In that respect, one could argue that many games seem to destroy time...But social games do something even more violent: they also destroy the time we spend away from them...through obligation, worry and dread over missed opportunities." -- Ian Bogost

When I write using a pen, my hands always get all inked up. I've checked and other peoples hands are usually clean. What is going on here? What could I possibly be doing wrong?

A really cool memory just resurfaced while I was listening to Tetris music - So when I was maybe 13 I had the 8th Highest Score in the World in Tetris (Smartphone Version). Unfortunately I was too naive to take a screenshot or something. I only showed it off to my friends. Back then it was a different time, internet wasn't readily available and I wasn't as knowledgeable about video games. Over the years I had forgotten about it, until now. Tetris is and will always be in my Top 5 Games of all time.

For quite some time I've wanted to learn a musical instrument and I've finally decided to learn the Piano/Fortepiano . So why the Piano? Well I possess a hand-me-down Casio MA-150 Keyboard and I've heard that Piano is an excellent starter instrument for learning Music. I'll be teaching myself using youtube videos and books. In case of ytube videos, If I find any useful channels/videos I'll post them here. For books, as a beginner I've narrowed down the selection to following:
1) The Complete Idiots Guide to Playing Piano (Brad Hill) and
2) Adult Piano Adventures All-in-One Piano Course Book 1 (Randall Faber, Nancy Faber) .
If I use any other books I'll post them here as well. If you have any suggestions or If you are on a similar journey then shoot me a quick mail so we can stay in touch. My goal is to learn the basics of Piano and Music in general so eventually I hope to be able to play complex pieces like classical sonatas and more importantly understand and appreciate them better. As I progress in my playing I'll post worthwhile updates/lessons learned here.

Yesterday I went saddle hunting in Minecraft because since the start what I wanted most was a Horse (and a massive stable full of all kinds of horses) and after reaching upto the point where I had a brewing station and enchantment table surrounded by bookshelves, I decided it was finally time to get myself a Ride. After venturing out from my base (compass is awesome), I explored multiple biomes and found all kinds of amazing things (watermelons, cocoa beans, turtles, llamas, ice, dolphins, etc), I found many villages (including an abandoned village with spiderwebs growing inside the structures), I raided a stronghold or two and yet I didn't find a single leatherworker or an actual saddle in any chests, though I found a few diamonds. Finally, I decided to head back and think of some other strategy. Today I ventured into the Nether to get some blaze rods. While I was trotting down my cobblestone road I found a strider with a saddle, using warped mushroom on a fishing rod, cobblestone and an axe I 'took' the saddle. Long story short the saddle was in my backyard Nether Portal the whole time. The joy of finally finding an item you've been looking for forever in Minecraft is so damn cool!

One of the best articles I've read in a while:
https://denshi.org/blog/18-rules-over-technology/

While I do not agree about the 'stay away from video games part' because video games are a form of entertainment and art and as long as consumed within reasonable limit is no different than reading a novel or watching a film/listening to music, regardless the article is pretty good.

Just started watching Mythbusters (2003) hosted by Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman. It originally aired on Discovery Channel. If you are red-blooded and have spent any time taking your toy cars apart as a boy then you should get on it right now.
